We want you to feel empowered and aware as you walk into delivery and postpartum. The classes we offer are designed to give you a basic understanding of the labor process as well as practical tools and techniques that will serve you through delivery.
Our birth education classes also cover postpartum, breastfeeding, and baby care, with an optional class for infant CPR.
Throughout your course we offer insight on cultural differences and realities surrounding labor and delivery locally that may be helpful as you walk through the process with your care provider.
Refresher
Refresher
For those who have already had prior children, we do offer a "Refresher." These are typically just a couple of hours and are meant to remind you of the foundational things that are helpful for you to remember as you prepare for labor and delivery. This is also a very helpful time to talk through cultural realities and how they may impact your experience. We highly recommend our "Refresher" class for anyone who is delivering in CM for the first time.
